CHANGE OF NAME

We are pleased to inform the public that the name of our organization has been changed:

From: Accreditation Commission for Education in Theology - ACET International

To: Association for Christian Higher Education and Theological Schools - ACHETS Incorporated

Following certain names that are absolutely forbidden by the Federal Government of Nigeria, with due special resolution to offer network & support services for Christian Educators in Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world, was established as a Christian body independently of the Biblical University and as approved by the Board of Directors/ Incorporated Trustees. A public notice was issued in local daily news paper “Daily Independent” on Thursday, October 29, 2020.

The new name was approved and Incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission and issued a certificate of incorporation with the registration number IT - 156524 on Thursday, March 11, 2021

 

ACHETS Incorporated is the first of its kind in Nigeria and is established with the power to accredit and provide support for all Christian colleges/universities and theological schools.

ACHETS is duly Incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a non-profit, Religious, Charitable, and an Educational Institution to operate in Nigeria for religious (Christian) consumption.

Therefore, we request you to take note of the change. All documents issued before the change of name remain valid.

BECOME A CHARTERED CHRISTIAN EDUCATOR

Chartered Professional Course - first professional chartered course in Christian education

The Association provides training for the above. Those who completed and passed the required Chartered Professional Course will be chartered and certified.

APPOINTMENT

Rev. Dr. Andreas Olufestus has been appointed as the National Coordinator, Pastor Dr. George Fayemi as the National Secretary and Pastor Dr. Mrs. Dupe Kayode as the National Representative

CONFERENCE

There will be a conference in Lagos State. This is an opportunity to be an individual or corporate member. Member schools will be listed in ACHETS Directory. Member schools will be eligible for approval/ accreditation. Please look forward to this. There will be induction into membership for individual and corporate member.
