4. Vacant Position in ACHETS - The Position of the National Coordinator in Person of Professor Andreas Olufestus, who occupied the position since 2018 until 2024, is now vacant, and is therefore available for another to do. He is no longer holding the office of the National Coordinator of ACHETS due to changes in tenure of officers in the new amended Constitution of ACHETS as quoted below:

ARTICLE 21: APPOINTMENT AND TENURE OF OFFICERS

C. TENURE OF OFFICERS

Officers may hold office for a term of four years, subject to satisfactory performance, and if qualified may be reappointed to hold office after the expiration of the maximum four-year term by writing and addressed to the officers, subject to annual renewal, but shall cease to hold office if he/she; resigns, commits criminal offence, rebels, recommended for removal from office for misconducts by the Governing Council, Board of Trustees. The Association’s decision to remove an officer will be delivered to the officer in writing.
